Polished open source games that can be called complete deserve special mention but are hard to find. This list fills that gap.

Complete games by genre

Games that have significant gameplay value - such as a storyline, involved exploration, or significant multi-player value.

Factors for inclusion

  • Open source, freely licensed code.
  • Information has to be complete, especially the game data licensing.
  • Consider discussing on the talk page before removing or adding games.
  • Use Wikipedia's Video game genres to assign genres.

Complete games

  • It must be possible to complete a game session, campaign or multi-player match.
  • Primarily single-player games must have a start, an end and provide a reasonable amount of levels/gameplay.
  • Primarily multi-player games must provide a reasonable amount of levels and game modes.

Casual games

  • Must be easy to start and satisfying to finish.
