Questions

Hello, I'm new to this (well, sort of, I'm a long time game maker user) and I have some questions. Firts off, do the engines have a GUI? And secondly, do any use 3DS files for models? Thanks! Cfive 00:27, 22 February 2008 (CET)

You'll have to find out on your own (or maybe find the info on this list.) Can't help you as have no idea. some of them have no gui for sure like OGRE, others maybe have it implemented. I think JMonkeyEngine supports 3ds but it's probably not the only one. --qubodup 16:36, 23 February 2008 (CET)

Thank you! Jmonkey looks like a good engine, too! Cfive 02:43, 26 February 2008 (CET)

As far as 3d engines, any suggestions for a beginner? Cfive 03:31, 28 February 2008 (CET)

Cool, but is it cross-platform? --qubodup 20:59, 4 March 2008 (CET)
Yes - based on Ogre3d --FreeGamer 17:03, 10 March 2008 (CET)

Xiph3D
