mdtrooper To be clear, your question is why they didn't use Spanish language? I have only a vague idea of the political aspect, but my guess would be that they see themself as a Catalan culture/Linux organization; I checked their website (after reading your post - since I don't speak Spanish, I didn't noticed that the Itch page was written in Catalan), and found no evidence of any nationalist or militant attitude.
