Technopeasant The VIC-20 was my first computer and my first programming steps. Unfortunately I once decided that it is useless and outdated, and threw it away. (It has only kHz, not GHz CPU speed and similar small RAM.) Nowadays there's a hype about these computers, and they have high prices afaik. So I regret throwing it away.
Fun fact: VIC-20, C64 and Amiga had Basic which seemed to be developed by Commodore, but actually were developed by Microsoft.
I recently thought that Python is the contemporary equivalent of Basic: Easy to learn, interpreted, quite highlevel.
