Our matchbot on #matchmaking was switched over to the main IRC network but still links back to Libera.chat and I fixed the nick pings for it over the bridge. Edit: Turns out this doesn't work as expected yet due to some reg-ex parser problem 😠Works now.
I also started experimenting with Loomio for hosted project forums. It mostly works already, but I still have some rough edges to fix before inviting projects to it.
It's a very nice modern forum system focussing on hosted groups (and sub-groups), however contrary to Flarum or Discourse it is a bit more focussed on organisational decision making, with lots of polling options and so on.
But I guess it is a departure from the original idea of the hosted forums as it is definitely more developer focussed than classic forums for players. I feel this might in fact increase the utility of our service, as most of the regular player chat has moved to platforms like Matrix or Discord, but developer exchange is usually stuck on Github etc. or also those chat-platforms that are IMHO less suitable for it. But Loomio integrates well with these chat-platforms via a built in bot, so it might be exactly what is needed.
Since is working as expected, I can remove the unused "project" subcategories in this forum here and will somehow link to our Loomio group explore page instead.
