The point on wikis is something I don't feel enough people appreciate in reverse. Just posting information on a forum post is NOT a good enough way to ensure that it is readily accessible for people now or particularly in the future. Half of the edits I make to my various wikis is regurgitate information hidden in forgotten forums posts in order to make sure they are concise and available. Closed systems like Discord are of course even worse.
As for a logo for libre, there is Freedo, who is the mascot of the Linux-libre kernel. The key symbolism is the brush for cleaning out proprietary components, which admittedly does not apply to projects that start as fully libre.
