A year ago I made some karts & tracks for STK.
Toots, Urho, Carrot and The Valley of Ice can already be downloaded in-game, but the repo also contains some experiments and other less finished work.

ffaf Thanks. Urho's still missing some animations, making him something of a spooky fish at the end the race.

Before I do I'd like to finish it a little more though.

These are great. Really expressive too (except for Urho lol) which is pretty rare in STK as it's hard to pull off with the limited animation system. I've actually used the Mastodon for quite a while, it's one of the karts I always have installed at this point.

Nice! I just uploaded a new revision with more (colourized) rope and new mud guards.

We are doing a splitscreen session of STK here a few times per year, and I will surely install the karts for the next one ;)

Carrot is now downloadable in STK as an add-on. Still missing some animations.

The tentacles seem at odds with the rest of the model. Too much modeling detail, too "realistic" with those suction cups imo. I think it'd look better if those were mostly done via the texture.
Very cute though and I'm looking forward to what kind of Kart you come up with to put an octopus in.

sndein Well, the suction cups show up in the unshaded reference, so they should at least be partly 3D to match the outline. But I'll have another look and take your suggestion into consideration. So far it's all vertex colouring, btw, just like Carrot. (only Carrot's vehicle has textures)

I'm modifying Keith's Racing Kart to use as the vehicle. As far as I know it hasn't been used for STK yet. And the tires seem suitable for a beach, where squids are most likely to drive their car.
