Peter Hi folks, how productive (with developing free games) are you? How many games do you publish? How time-intensively are you doing it?
Peter Similar here. In average I manage only to code one to two hours per week. (As i already mentioned elsewhere my prodictivity boosted up after I concentrated on small projects and decided to NOT write my own engine.)
dulsi Being laid off made me a lot more productive. :) My productivity depends. There are a lot of activities vying for free time. Trying a new commercial game can stuck up that time. (Curse you for giving away Desktop Dungeons for free.)
forty_sham Less than I probably should be. (This is probably because I have numerous things going on at once, though.)
Elouin For me that really depends on what my job looks like. When i am already coding like 8 hours of the day, i usually don't have that much motivation to do more coding in my spare time. Also life sometimes is just full of other stuff.
mdtrooper Nothing, I only made a solitarie cards game in SDL1 and tetris clone in SDL1 too, a lot of years ago (maybe in 2004). And nothing, for these year to now. Only I translate into spanish a bunch of games. I want to get serious with Godot.
Lopy I'm not as productive as I would want, but I'm also doing many things at once without that much time. What I find helps is having multiple things available to work on (code, texture, sound, etc). That way I have better chances of having something to do with the time/mood on hand.
