Did not watch the tutorial; I think 1 hour is too short. It can only cover some rough basics.
I worked through "The Ultimate Godot Tutorial", which is much longer (but worth it):
It was pretty in-depth and I learned a lot because it also explains, not just shows. But even that covered "only" 2D and many node types weren't covered at all since Godot is so big. But it was a great starting point. Note there's a part 2.
I haven't made any game in Godot yet but I may eventually. When I do, I will have to learn other Godot stuff, the nitty-gritty details so to say, but I think the Godot documentation will be the place to go. Be careful not to fall into the "tutorial trap"; the goal must be that you can come up with your own projects eventually.
I'm still too obsessed with Minetest right now. ;-)
