Today I look for a minesweeper and I found this http://eelis.net/Minesweeper3D/ . The last release was in 2005 and it is under public domain.
I am going to try to compile in a modern GNU/Linux...maybe it will run or not.

Web page says Python >= 1.6. I would be surprised if that ran on python 3 or 2.
