have a similar interface to roguelikes (monomodality, etc.)
make an adventure game

Early testers did not like it that much to be honest so I lost a bit of steam and then I was busy with work

Edit: Thanks @Technopeasant for this thread's idea. It is indeed motivating
a) to see other incomplete games, so I'm not the only one with a incomplete project.
b) to post the results so far (instead of just thinking of the finishing of the project)

Peter I like IF, which genre is this one?

The genre is fantasy. The protagonist is an alchemist.

It is actually intended to evolve stepy-by-step into a graphical adventure. Note that I don't use an existing IF "engine" but instead I use C++ and do it all from scratch. I've tried engines and special adventure-languages a lot but I get the best results from doing it all myself.

Whenever I get really optimistic I plan to produce a series with this alchemist.

You made this yourself? It looks impressive. And it doesn't look like the already existing rollercoaster/park games. It looks different and imho even better.

And it will be libre/open source?

Edit: The people have long arms and feet. Maybe this is even intentional because it looks funny?

Peter Thanks! And yes; libre all the way.
Initially I made the characters for another project called KO & the Curse of Greyface, and improved them a little for LucKey Park. Indeed their proportions are intentional. To me it makes sense because you'd want to be able to make out the items they are holding while being in bird's-eye view, like milkshakes and hamburgers.

Btw, you can ride the coasters by clicking on a wagon with the magnifying glass.

He, that book is a nice one. It lets me think immediately about fantasy roleplaying. Maybe because of the book? (Because of the paper colour it looks old and the lighting is a bit dim I think, which I associate with RPG, too).

I tried Blip and Blup. But I got this error message:

Illegal instruction (core dumped)

Is there a sourcecode repo for Luckey Games? (or several for the different games?)
